About JEE Main 2020 - Joint Entrance Examination - JEE Main is an engineering entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) / Bachelor of Engineering (B.E), Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch) and Bachelor of Planning (B. Planning) courses in NITs, IIITs and CFTIs, Institutions funded by participating State Governments and other Institutions. 

The JEE (Main) will be conducted twice in a year. The first JEE (Main) 2020 will be held in January 2020 whereas the second will be held in April 2020.

JEE Main 2020 Eligibility - Those candidates who have passed their Class 12th in Science with PCM in 2018 or 2019; or those who are appearing in their Class 12th Examination in 2020 are eligible to appear for JEE (Main) 2020 Examination.

JEE Main 2020 Pattern - 

B.E./B. Tech. Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only to be attempted on Computer. 

Subject - No of Questions - Marks

Mathematics - (20+5) - 100 Marks

Physics - (20+5) - 100 Marks

Chemistry -(20+5) - 100 Marks

Total - 75 Qs - 300 Marks

20 questions will be MCQs and 5 questions will have answer to be filled as numerical value.

B. Arch: Mathematics- Part I and Aptitude Test-Part II in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only and Drawing Test –Part III in Pen & Paper Based (offline) mode to be attempted on drawing sheet of A4 size.

Mathematics Part I - (20+5) - 100 Marks

Aptitude Test Part II - 50 Qs - 200 Marks

Drawing Test Part III - 02 Qs - 100 Marks

Total - 77 Qs - 400 Marks

Upload Scanned Images of Candidate Photograph and Candidate Signature -

Size of scanned photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb.

Size of scanned signature should be between 4 kb to 30 kb.

Scanned photograph and signature should be in JPG/JPEG format.

The recent photograph should be coloured or black/white (but clear contrast).
