  About CS Exam - The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) conducts examination for Company Secretaries (CS) Course.

 Role of a Company Secretary

 CS Foundation Programme Eligibility - 10+2 pass or equivalent students of Arts, Science or Commerce stream (Except Fine Arts).

 Provisional admission is allowed to a candidate who has appeared or enrolled for appearing in Senior Secondary (10+2 or equivalent) examination, provided proof of passing the examination is produced within 6 months of making the application.





CS Foundation Programme 2020 Pattern -

The Syllabus for Foundation Programme shall comprise of four papers.

Paper 1 - Business Environment and Law
Paper 2 - Business Management, Ethics and Entrepreneurship 
Paper 3 - Business Economics 
Paper 4 - Fundamentals of Accounting and Auditing

The mode of examination will be Computer based MCQs.

Qualifying Marks - A candidate shall be declared to have passed in the Foundation Programme Examination if he obtains at one sitting a minimum of forty per cent marks in each subject and fifty per cent marks in the aggregate of all subjects.

 Apply Online at website - https://www.icsi.edu

 Cut off dates for admission for Foundation Programme -

 31st March for appearing in December Examination in the same year

 30th September for June Examination next year.

 Upload Photograph and Signature - 

 File size of student photo should be between 20kb to 50kb.

 File Size of student signature should be between 10kb to 20kb..

 All the files should be present in one of the following formats(jpg, jpeg, png, gif, bmp,pdf).

 Examination fee for Foundation Programme  - Rs 1200/- 

 Mode of Payment - Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / Challan.
