 About JKCET Engineering Exam - The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) conducts entrance examinations for admission to B.E./B. Tech. (Engineering) Courses in various Government and Private Colleges in J&K State.



JKCET Engineering CET 2020 Eligibility -

 A candidate must be a Permanent Resident of the J&K State as defined in section 6 of the Constitution of the J&K State;

 Age - At least 17 years old on 31st December 2020.

 Qualification -

 Should have passed 12th Science examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics [At least 50% marks for Open Merit Category candidates, including the Children of Defense Personnel, Children of Para Military Forces, Children of State Police Personnel and candidates possessing outstanding proficiency in Sports and 40% marks for the reserved category candidates belonging to SC/ST and other Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (RBA/ALC/OSC)].

 The candidates appearing/appeared in 12th Class annual examination 2020 can also apply to appear in CET 2020, provided such candidates have qualified the examination at the time of declaration of the result/at the date of counselling as may be notified by the Board. Their CET result shall remain withheld unless they produce the necessary certificate of qualifying the 12th Class Exam.

 JKCET Engineering 2020 Pattern -

 CET shall consist of Single Paper with three sections comprising of Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics with 180 questions (60 questions from each section) with time duration of 3.00 hours. The questions shall be multiple choice objective types with one mark each. There will be 0.25 negative marks for each wrong answer.

 The entrance test is based on the courses of study and syllabi of 12th class. 

 JKCET Engineering 2020 Application Form -

 Apply online at official websites - http://www.jakbopee.org or https://www.jkbopee.gov.in from First week of February 2020 to Last week of February 2020.

 Application Fee - Rs. 1200/-

 Mode of Payment - Credit Card/Debit Card

 The candidates have to upload a recent Photo, Scanned copy of the Signature and Thumb Impression also.

 The maximum size of the photograph/signature/thumb-impressionto be from 10 - 50 KB.

 The photograph/signature/thumb-impression images to be uploaded in JPG/JPEG format.
